AMA Recap: How Blockchain MCP is Simplifying Development for Developers and Non-Developers

Greeting builders,

As a Web3 infrastructure platform moving at rocket speed, we’re expanding across the APAC region to support builders with our Blockchain MCP. To spread the word about our Wavehack on Akindo and help more builders get the support they need, we were invited by Blocktempo to join their Twitter Space on June 18th, 2025. The AMA focused on how Nodit's new tooling, Blockchain MCP which is empowering decentralized AI agents and LLM ecosystems in multi-chain environments.

For those who missed out, we’ve prepared a recap for you to catch up on.

How Blockchain MCP Makes Development Easier (Even for Non-Developers)

*Originally by BlockTempo, modified by Nodit.*

AI is advancing rapidly, and Blockchain MCP has played a role in pushing the boundaries of AI's potential. While the combination of blockchain and AI used to raise many questions, the introduction of MCP has sparked new possibilities. But how can someone with no programming experience dive in? That’s what we explored during the AMA.

Blockchain MCP: A Powerful Tool for Developers to Easily Integrate On-Chain Data

MCP has become a key tool for integrating on-chain data, tackling the challenges developers face with cross-chain interactions.

👩🏻Vicky, Marketing Manager of Nodit shared:

“Before we launched the MCP, builders had to run nodes and manage complex synchronization, which consumed significant resources. Now, we have simplified cross-chain data access through a unified API, allowing builders to focus on building innovative applications.”

Currently, Nodit's Blockchain MCP supports 13 chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, and Base, enabling developers to easily retrieve data on wallets, tokens, and NFTs for DeFi, NFT, and trading tool development, all with ease.

Allen from XueDao also added:

"MCP is more than just a cross-chain data API. It includes parsing modules for wallets, NFTs, DeFi protocols, and transaction data, allowing developers to quickly combine and call on-chain information to create monitoring tools, automated strategies, and notifications."

AI meets On-Chain Data Means A New Era of Blockchain Applications

The real potential of MCP shines when combined with AI. By merging AI with on-chain data, Nodit is opening up new ways for users to interact with and benefit from blockchain.

👩🏻 "AI and on-chain data are a powerful combination—on-chain data is valuable, transparent, and perfect for processing by AI models to generate more automated applications. The goal is to make on-chain data 'useful, easy to use, and widely adopted.'", Vicky also explained.

While on-chain data is open and accessible, many users find it hard to interact with it without deep technical knowledge. But with the help of AI agents, engaging with the blockchain has never been easier. Now, users can simply ask questions like, "What’s the current value of my NFT?" or "Is my wallet at risk of a scam NFT airdrop?" With MCP, AI agents can respond instantly, making it simple for anyone to interact with blockchain data.

Vicky believes this approach will make blockchain more accessible and raise awareness about asset security and real-time data management to drive mass adoption.

👩🏻 "By combining MCP with AI, users can get real-time updates on their on-chain assets via platforms like Telegram or Line, making blockchain practical for everyday use," she added.

Allen also give an example to support her feedbacks:

"In the future, AI agents will monitor large on-chain transactions, automatically analyzing their source and destination. Based on predefined conditions, the agent will alert users and can even interact with DeFi protocols to facilitate reinvestments or convert stablecoins."

The integration of AI and on-chain data plays a crucial role in the future development of MCP, paving the way for more intelligent and efficient blockchain solutions.

How Developers (and Non-Developers) Can Get Involved With the Nodit MCP?

Vicky shared that the main goal of Blockchain MCP is to lower the barrier to entry for blockchain development, enabling people from all backgrounds to get involved.

She explained that even if you don’t have a full Web3 development background, you can still use MCP to call an API and start building things like wallet monitoring, NFT tracking, and transaction queries with ease. The modular interfaces make it super simple to bring your ideas to life quickly.

👩🏻"All you need is an API Key to get started," Vicky mentioned.

Allen also pointed out that MCP is not just for developers. Even people without a technical background, like community managers and content creators, can take advantage of MCP.

"For example, a community manager running a Discord or Telegram group can use tools like Google Sheets or Airtable to set up automatic NFT verification or monitor wallet transactions. No coding skills required!"

Nodit’s Hackathon and What’s Next?

To further expand the ecosystem, Vicky mentioned that Nodit is currently running a two-month Buildathon with Akindo. By providing both online and offline workshops, builders are not only learning how to quickly integrate on-chain data but also turning innovative ideas into actionable, real-world applications in record time.
