First In-house Hackathon: Building with Blockchain MCP

TL;DR
- 5 teams, 5 unique ideas — No overlaps, no repeats. Every project brought fresh perspectives to how Blockchain MCP can be used.
- Dev + non-dev pairings proved that Nodit’s stack is truly accessible, even to those without a technical background.
- Projects tackled real-world use cases — from scam detection and wallet UX to internal culture-building tools like NFT staff badges.
- Teams integrated AI tools, Gemini, Nodit MCP, Web3 Data API, and CCXT, combining cutting-edge infra with practical design.
- Several projects showed real potential for productization, and the collaboration across roles sparked unexpected innovation.
- “Round two” is on the way. If you’d like to be part of it, come join us! (We’re hiring!)
Greeting builders,
Sponsoring external hackathons is rewarding, yet nothing beats watching colleagues push the limits of our own stack. By pairing one developer with one non-developer on each team, we wanted to show that Blockchain MCP really is approachable for anyone who has a problem to solve. The only rule: each squad had to pair one developer with one non-developer, proving that MCP lowers the barrier for everyone.
Lambda256 Hackathon 2025: Two Tracks, One Vision

This hackathon mainly focused on two main areas:
- Devloper with Blockchain MCP on Nodit ✅
- Work with AI to create productivity tools
In this recap, we’re spotlighting the Blockchain MCP track, where teams explored how Nodit and Blockchain MCP could be applied to real-world use cases — some even ready for real productization.
1_Aim High — Simplifying Wallet UX for Web3 Newcomers

When newcomers enter the Web3 space, one of the biggest challenges they face is using wallets. From understanding how to bridge assets, identifying on-chain activities, and spotting scam sites — to interpreting transaction hashes or using explorers to confirm whether a transaction was successful — the learning curve can be steep. It’s also common for users to forget which wallet they used to mint an NFT if they don’t manually track it.
Aim High aims to simplify this entire experience, making Web3 transactions more accessible and intuitive for new users. By leveraging Web3 Data MCP and Blockchain MCP, the team built tools to streamline transaction visibility and wallet management, ensuring a smoother, safer onboarding journey for Web3 beginners.
2_ 케노별 (KeNoStar) — Nodit Plugin for ElizaOS

This project fused two of the most buzz-worthy concepts in tech: ElizaOS and Nodit MCP.
By integrating Claude CLI with Nodit MCP, the team created a plugin that enables real-time, on-chain analytics and seamless NFT minting across multiple chains — all in a single click. It's a powerful demonstration of how AI interfaces and blockchain data tooling can converge to create intuitive user experiences.
3_ NoBitA — Helping beginners stay on track in the 24/7 crypto market

As Bitcoin reaches new highs, more investors are entering the digital asset space. But for newcomers, diving into crypto can be overwhelming — especially in a market that never sleeps.
From tracking price movements to analyzing on-chain activity, staying informed around the clock isn’t easy. NoBitA tackles this challenge with a smart, all-in-one dashboard and AI investment adviser — powered by dual-sourced asset data from both CEX and DEX platforms. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned trader, NoBitA helps you navigate the crypto market with clarity and confidence.
With a beginner-friendly UI/UX, multilingual support, and seamless integration from market insights to real-time execution, NoBitA lowers the barrier to entry — whether you're:
- New to crypto and looking for an easy entry point into trading and centralized exchanges
- A busy professional who can’t monitor the market 24/7
- A seasoned trader looking for better tools to optimize strategy
- Or a data-driven investor relying on analytics for smarter decisions
The team leveraged Gemini AI and Nodit API to track on-chain activity, and used CCXT to pull real-time data from centralized exchanges — combining decentralized and centralized sources into one powerful interface.
4_ Television — No more painful scams

TGE (Token Generation Event) is a high-impact keyword in the Web3 space — often used to spark interest and signal a potential listing. But with all the hype comes risk. Rug pulls and scams are everywhere. Whether you’re a seasoned OG or a first-time trader, your funds can disappear in seconds if you’re not careful.
Television was built to help users stay safe. The project offers a scam-checking and airdrop fact-checking tool that validates website URLs against official sources. By leveraging Puppeteer MCP through Gemini, users are able to verify suspicious links and compare them directly with trusted originals which helping reduce the risk of phishing or fake airdrops.
But scams don’t stop at fake websites, as they also spread through social influence. In the meme coin world, KOL (Key Opinion Leader) marketing is common, and traders often encounter misleading advice even they masked themselves as “DYOR” (Do Your Own Research). This project addresses this challenge as well. The platform features a blockchain verification tool that checks whether a KOL actually holds the tokens they promote, helping users avoid falling for overhyped, influencer-backed schemes.
To power these features, the team effectively integrated Nodit MCP and the Nodit Web3 Data API, enabling on-chain tracking and cross-verification of influencer activity — ultimately creating a safer, more transparent experience for Web3 users.
5_ No Overtime Today! (칼퇴하JaJa) — Your identity reflects your sense of belonging at Nodit.

This project was inspired by the idea of connecting Web3 tools with real-world startup culture. Many early-stage startups lack formal structures — even something as simple as staff badges — which can make it harder for employees to feel like part of a cohesive group or organization.
To address this, the team proposed creating NFT-style staff badges linked to each employee’s EOA (Externally Owned Account) wallet. Each badge is customizable and generated in NFT format, serving both as a visual identity and a tool to foster team unity. Internal rewards — such as event participation bonuses — are distributed using ERC-20 tokens, with every transaction, balance, and hash trackable via Nodit MCP.
To take their concept further, the team used AI tools to refine their proposal, with development carried out by Junie via Cursor. This combination of Web3 infrastructure and creative identity-building opens up a new way for companies to build community and loyalty, turning a workplace into something that feels more like a family — starting with a badge on the blockchain.

We wrapped up the hackathon with five completed projects. What stood out the most was how quickly everything came together. Even many participants felt the timeline was tight, they still managed to build functional prototypes within just a week while continuing their regular work. This was possible because Blockchain MCP allowed them to move with speed and clarity. It helped teams test ideas efficiently and bring them to life without unnecessary blockers.
As a result, the hackathon wasn’t just about shipping projects. It became a real demonstration of how the right tools can empower anyone to build — and build fast.
When Everyone Builds, Ideas Get Wildly Better
What truly stood out in this hackathon was the diversity of ideas — not a single project felt repetitive, and every team brought something original to the table. The quality of work exceeded our expectations across the board.
It was incredibly energizing to see teammates from different backgrounds pair up, exchange ideas, and keep pushing their projects to be more practical, more impactful, and more usable. Every team delivered. And honestly, some of these ideas have the potential to evolve into real products — or even full-blown business models.

And we’re just getting started.
