Greeting builders,
Seoul was buzzing last week as Korea Blockchain Week 2025 (KBW2025) brought builders, innovators, and leaders from across the globe into one place. The city turned into a hub of energy, filled with conversations on the future of Web3, late-night meetups, and meaningful collaborations.
For us at Nodit, the week was more than panels and mixers! It was about building genuine connections, exchanging ideas that push the industry forward, and experiencing the moments where technology meets culture. From technical discussions to cultural gatherings, every experience added something unique to our KBW journey.
Here’s a look back at the highlights of KBW2025.
Nodit Pocha: Where Web3 Met K-Culture

At KBW2025, a key highlight for us was Nodit Pocha: A K-Culture Night Mixer, co-hosted with ØG and Tokenpost. The event provided a unique platform to engage industry leaders while showcasing the cultural dimension of Korea’s Web3 ecosystem.

The evening featured two panels and a fireside chat that brought leading voices from top projects to share perspectives on how technology, policy and community are shaping the future of Web3.
Panel 1: AI & Infrastructure

The first panel was moderated by our Marketing Lead Angela Jung and explored how AI is transforming blockchain infrastructure. Speakers included Brian Hong (Head of APAC at Abstract), Ben Fisch (CEO of Espresso), Raullen Chai (CEO of IoTeX) and Dane Shea (Solution Architect Lead at LayerZero). The discussion focused on how AI is applied today, from backend optimization and automation to developer-facing tools that improve usability, as well as what is still missing for blockchain infrastructure to reach its ideal form.

Having such brilliant leaders on stage made the conversation especially engaging and forward-looking!
Panel 2: Policy & Builders

The second panel focused on Korea’s Web3 talent pipeline and was moderated by our DX Team Lead, Bailey Park, who brought her experience in developer relations. The discussion featured Moz (CSO of AKINDO), David Wonpyo Hong (CEO of RocketPunch), and Jaehyun Kim (Head of DevRel and CSO of Superteam Korea). With regulation advancing and local enthusiasm growing, the conversation explored how demand for blockchain professionals is evolving. Panelists highlighted the rising importance of hackathon experience, community involvement, and practical skills alongside traditional credentials in the Web3 job market.

With both our team and the panelists emphasizing the builder perspective, it became clear that the strength of Korea’s ecosystem will depend on nurturing talent that can bridge technical expertise with real-world application.
Fireside Chat with Michael Heinrich

The night also featured a fireside chat with Michael Heinrich, Founder of ØG, joined by our Business Lead, Jae. The discussion highlighted how AI and blockchain can converge to build more resilient, data-driven systems, and why supporting Korea’s builder ecosystem is essential for long-term growth.
Beyond the Stage
Nodit Pocha wasn’t only about conversations, it was also about celebrating Korean culture. Guests enjoyed trying on traditional hanbok, exploring K-beauty gifts such as facial masks and lip oils, and sharing a toast with rice wine sponsored by Kooksoondang, which quickly became the centerpiece of the evening.

The mix of insightful dialogue and cultural exchange made Nodit Pocha a unique and unforgettable highlight of KBW2025.
Building Meaningful Connections
KBW2025 wasn’t just about showing up — it was about showing what collaboration looks like in action. We dove into the meme energy with Sui, bringing culture and community together in ways only Web3 can. We stepped onto the stage with IoTeX to explore how DePIN and AI are reshaping real-world infrastructure. And we stood alongside Somnia to reaffirm our commitment to supporting local ecosystems.
Each moment carried its own flavor — playful, technical, and community-driven — but all reflected the same goal: building stronger bridges across Web3.
Meme Culture: Pure Vibes with the Sui Community

One of the most unforgettable highlights of KBW2025 was Meme Culture, an event that perfectly captured the playful, community-driven spirit of Web3.
The Sui community showed up in full force, filling the night with smart conversations, laughter, and pure meme energy 💧. It was more than just a gathering — it felt like a space where creativity and culture collided, reminding us how important humor, connection, and community are in shaping the future of Web3.

For us at Nodit, it was an honor to be part of the evening and to share it with such a vibrant group of builders and friends. A special thanks goes to Hippo, Lofi, Blub and Suilend for bringing their energy and helping turn the event into something truly memorable.
Meme Culture was also the perfect moment to highlight that Nodit has begun integrating on Sui, providing infrastructure such as RPC nodes and a Data API to ensure every project in the ecosystem can build with speed, reliability, and scale.
It was a reminder that while infrastructure and technology are at the core of what we build, it’s the community and shared experiences that bring it all to life.
DePIN x AI: Real World Happy Hour in Seoul (22 Sept)

At the DePIN x AI: Real World Happy Hour in Seoul, hosted by IoTeX, our Business Lead Jae took the stage to share how Nodit’s Blockchain MCP makes infrastructure and data more accessible for real-world applications.
Jae highlighted how MCP simplifies the way teams interact with blockchain, removing complexity and enabling builders to focus on creating. One of the stories he shared came from our internal hackathon, where teams were able to expand their ideas into real use cases using MCP. This showed that MCP isn’t just a powerful tool for developers — it also opens the door for non-technical builders to explore and contribute to blockchain innovation.

The session was filled with valuable conversations about the intersection of DePIN, AI, and blockchain infrastructure, and it was a privilege to exchange ideas with peers shaping this space.
A big thank you to IoTeX for co-hosting such a meaningful event and having us with the local community.
Somnia @ KBW (23 Sept) — Sponsored by Nodit
As a proud validator of Somnia, KBW2025 gave us the chance to reconnect with the team in Seoul and deepen our collaboration. One of the highlights was sitting down with Paul Thomas, Founder and CEOof Somnia, for an interview where he shared his thoughts on Nodit’s role as a validator and offered insights into Somnia’s broader ecosystem roadmap.

It was a meaningful exchange that underscored how validators like Nodit contribute not only to the security and reliability of the network, but also to the growth of the community around it.
The full conversation will be released soon on our channels — stay tuned.
Carrying the Momentum to TOKEN2049

And we’re not stopping here — our next stop is TOKEN2049 Singapore.
Looking forward to continuing the conversations, collaborations, and community spirit. See you there! ✈️🇸🇬
