Nodit Supports Somnia Network with Validator Services

TL;DR
- Nodit is now operating as a delegated validator on the Somnia network, supporting its high-performance Layer 1 blockchain.
- Somnia is designed for real-time, mass-consumer applications like gaming, metaverse, and social—featuring 1,000,000+ TPS and sub-second finality.
- With validator experience from Aptos and zkCloud, Nodit brings infrastructure-grade reliability to support Somnia’s scale and performance vision.
- This milestone was officially announced by the Nodit and Somnia teams during a side event at GM Vietnam, joined by builders from across the region.
Greeting builders,
As blockchain applications evolve to serve mass audiences—across gaming, social, and immersive digital experiences—the need for scalable, real-time infrastructure becomes essential.
That’s why we’re happy to share that Nodit is now a delegated validator on Somnia, known as a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain capable of processing over 1,000,000 transactions per second with sub-second finality.
With a mission to power onchain mass-consumer experiences at internet scale, Somnia is purpose-built for performance, pushing the limits of EVM-compatible chains through high-throughput architecture and globally distributed node operations.
Built for Throughput: A Look Inside Somnia’s Technology

In its early MVP phase, Somnia successfully processed over 1 million transactions per second across more than 100 globally distributed nodes, simulating ERC-20 transfers among hundreds of thousands of accounts.
As the network moves toward benchmarking decentralized exchanges and high-demand NFT workloads, such as Uniswap deployments and Otherside-style mints, validators form the foundation of its real-world performance. Their role is essential in sustaining throughput, consistency, and execution integrity at massive scale.
Somnia achieves this with innovations including MultiStream consensus, independent validator-run data chains, compiled bytecode execution, and IceDB—its custom database optimized for nanosecond-level read and write operations. These architectural decisions make Somnia not only fast, but fundamentally more scalable than conventional EVM-compatible chains.
What Nodit’s Validator Role Means for Builders
Nodit first began providing validator services on networks like Aptos and zkCloud to help support decentralization through reliable infrastructure.
And now, Somnia is the next step in our effort to support fast, reliable, and developer-centric blockchain infrastructure. Serving as a validator is not only about contributing to network security; it also enables builders to access validated data more quickly, maintain greater consistency across services, and work within a more stable and transparent development environment.
- A globally optimized infrastructure that delivers low-latency responsiveness
- Transparent and secure validator operations, including key and state management
- Proven validator experience from networks such as Aptos and zkCloud
Beyond supporting Somnia’s core infrastructure, Nodit’s validator role creates tangible advantages for builders. Because our infrastructure powers both the validator layer and developer-facing services like the Web3 Data API and Node API, builders benefit from:
- Faster and more reliable access to validated data
- Improved consistency between on-chain and application-level insights
- A more predictable and transparent development environment
Somnia validation is now live through Nodit, with API support via the Web3 Data API and Node API coming soon. This integration will streamline data access for developers, ensuring alignment between onchain state and application logic.
Announced it at our party at GM Vietnam
To mark this milestone and share it with the broader community, Team Nodit and Somnia made the official validator announcement during a side event at GM Vietnam, celebrating the collaboration with builders and ecosystem supporters on-site.

“Being a validator on Somnia means a great deal to Nodit. It aligns with our mission to support high-performance, developer-first networks with meaningful infrastructure,” said Jae Kim, Business Laed at Nodit.
With validator operations now active on Somnia, Nodit is continuing to expand its role across performance-driven networks. More validator announcements and ecosystem collaborations are on the way—stay tuned.
